Carol McCormick

March 21, 2017 Taylor Dobson

Carol McCormick sparks imaginations of all ages as a performer, public speaker, trainer, workshop leader, conference keynoter and author. A professional storyteller for over 30 years, she is a former teacher and corporate trainer. Carol has presented many school artist residencies, teacher workshops and assembly programs. She adds sparkle and warmth to adult meetings and conferences, parties (birthday, anniversary, croning, holiday), wedding receptions, church services and spiritual gatherings, fairs, singles events, libraries, shopping centers and festivals.

Carol’s program themes include literacy, ecology, bully prevention, history, holidays, Irish, Egyptian, multicultural and peacemaking. Her costumed characters include Ms. Val N. Tine, Shamrock O’Toole, Wanda the Witch, Ever Green and the Snow Queen. She will tailor a program to fit your theme.

Carol has been a keynote speaker and session presenter at both Young and Adult Author Conferences. Her children’s book A Bridge for Grandma is based on interviews with children who have had Near-Death-Experiences. She is the author and trainer of the storytelling curriculum for young children Create a World of Caring and Kindness.
