Every November, the National Storytelling Network (NSN) spearheads an international celebration of storytelling known as Tellabration!™ And every year, story lovers in the Twin Cities gather to share stories in the warmth of each other’s company. In some years Tellabration!™ has involved a full day of lively workshops and story swaps followed by a public performance; other years, it’s been a small group gathered in a pub to trade tales.

In November 2021, Story Arts stepped forward to continue the tradition during the pandemic with a virtual story concert featuring eight of our talented members. The SAM Tellabration!™ story concert, hosted by professional teller Carol McCormick, showcased a range of stories and telling styles. All the tellers waived their usual performance fees, so tickets for the concert on Zoom were free. Because SAM is committed to offering free or pay-what-you-wish programs for public audiences, we’re very grateful for the tellers’ generosity—as well as their engaging stories!

We hope you enjoy the recording. Please consider making a donation to support our ongoing programs.
