28th Annual Black Master Storytelling Festival

The Black Storytellers Alliance has announced the schedule and featured storytellers for its 28th annual festival, “Signifyin’ & Testifyin’,” September 26-28. The exciting line-up includes Janice Curtis Greene (Baltimore, Maryland), Dylan Pritchett (Richmond, Virginia), Mama Koku (Atlanta, Georgia), Atiba Kwabena Wilson (Harlem, New York), Oceana James (Harlem, New York), Toni Simmons (Fort Worth, Texas), Oba William King (Dallas, Texas), and Auntie Beverly (Minneapolis, Minnesota). At the popular Liars’ Contest, youth and adults vie to tell the best tall tale and win a trophy.
