Sandbar Storytelling Festival provides exciting performances and compelling chronicles amidst the breathtaking beauty of Winona, MN. Come celebrate and preserve the power and pleasure of our varied cultural traditions and human experiences. Help us promote the art of storytelling for all ages.

The public festival includes food, workshops, competitions, concerts, and — of course — storytelling at Saint Mary’s University. Multiple other events are also planned for Winona schools, universities, and other venues throughout Winona.

9:30-11:15 a.m., Storytelling for All-Ages, focusing on family fun, with Sheila Arnold, Len Cabral, Carolina Quiroga-Stultz, and the music of Calle Sur ($1/person, made possible by WNB Financial)

11:30 a.m., Lunch (food trucks, kid’s activities, and music by Calle Sur in the outdoor tent)

1-1:35 p.m., Len Cabral

1:45-2:20 p.m., Mo Reynolds

2:30-3:05 p.m., Carolina Quiroga-Stultz

3:15-3:50 p.m., Sheila Arnold

4-4:35 p.m., Paul Strickland

4:30 p.m., Dinner (food trucks by the tent)

5 p.m., Little Warriors Drumline, outdoor tent area

5:30-6:30 p.m., Music featuring Calle Sur

7 p.m., The 2024 Storytellers
