Join Laura Packer for a three-session exploration into using fairy tales as structure and form for stories out of your life. This class is ideal for telling those stories you still need to keep secret, for using symbolic language, for political play, and for the great fun of retelling the tale. Reveal the heroes, helpers, and villains, celebrate wit and wisdom, and use rich symbols to tell your own tale, a story from your family (immigration stories are always fun to retell as fairy tales), or a story of modern events (Emperor’s New Clothes, anyone?). Storytellers, poets, and trouble makers all welcome. 

$75 for all three sessions, Tuesdays, September 6, 13, and 20 at 7-8:30pm Central.
