ONLINE: Insect Stories with Hope Flanagan

This online event is offered by the University of Minnesota Extension.

Hope Flanagan (Seneca) is from the Turtle Clan and an elder who teaches about plants and wild plant gathering. She is also a Storyteller and shares stories that were passed on to her by Ona KingBird from the Red Lake Reservation. Hope is a Community Outreach and Culture Teacher at Dream of Wild Health, an organization focused on Indigenous food sovereignty and lifeways and has served the Twin Cities Native community since the late 1970s. She also has taught in an Ojibwe Immersion classroom for ten years and served as a Storyteller for Minneapolis Public Schools.
