MPLS: Sick Lit: A Writing Workshop

An open writing workshop for artists and writers interested in writing and reading around chronic illness. No previous experience needed. Workshops will be lead by writer, editor, and teaching artist Lara Mimosa Montes in the library meeting room. Future workshops will take place in March and April. Lara Mimosa Montes is the author of THRESHOLES (Coffee House Press, 2020) and The Somnambulist (Horse Less Press, 2016). She holds a PhD in English from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is a senior editor of Triple Canopy. She divides her time between Minneapolis and New York.

This workshop is made possible by a 2020 Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
