Writing about your own life can be rewarding -- and there are so many forms your material can take: personal essay, memoir, short stories, online blog, even performance monologues. This all-levels class uses writing time and discussion to cover finding the heart of a personal story, deciding what needs to be told, compressing time, developing a specific voice, and utilizing scenes and structure. Bring a notebook and pen, or laptop.
