Storytelling II (4-week class)

Mondays, September 23, 30 & October 7 & 14, 2019
7:00pm - 9:15pm

Class is limited to 10 students
(This class is for adults 18+)

Dive in deeper to the awesome world of storytelling! In Storytelling II students will complete a longer (10-12 minute) autobiographical story. We will explore how to use characters, setting, and inner monologue in story effectively with a focus on performing your written piece. Each week there will be writing exercises to spark new stories, and time to workshop pieces together. Students will be invited to perform in a showcase after class in complete.

TEACHER: Allison Broeren is the co-owner of Strike, a Moth Mainstage performer, host of the Story SlamMN!, a founding member of the Rockstar Storytellers, and director of Word Sprout. She has seen over 1000 stories on the slam stage and can’t wait to geek out on storytelling with you.
