Story Arts of Minnesota is providing live storytelling at the heart of the Festival’s Marketplace Bazaar. A diverse group of tellers will share tales from their own or their ancestors’ homelands.

Grab a bite to eat at the Festival’s amazing food court, enjoy dance and music , watch artisans practice their crafts… and then head for the Storytelling Stage for lots more entertainment!

10:00-10:30 am  Peuo Tuy shares Cambodian tales. One of her stories will explain how a Goddess Painting relates to her father becoming a Buddhist monk.

11:00-11:30 am  Tanya Brody tells Celtic and British stories through words and music as she accompanies herself on the harp. Tanya has played all over the country. 12:00-12:30 pm  Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux shares adventures to be had east of the sun and west of the moon! Watch out for trolls, make a bargain with the wind, and learn how to make nail broth in these interactive stories from Scandinavia. www.rosearrowsmithdecoux.com

 4:00-4:30 pm  Carol McCormick closes the Storytelling Stage with a wild rumpus of stories from her Czech, German, and Irish heritage. She has 30+ years of experience telling stories to audiences of all ages.  www.carolmccormick.net
