The ability to tell a great story is one of the most powerful skills that you can have. This class will help you dive into the art of narrative storytelling. We will explore how to craft stories, how to build performance skills, how to connect with your audience, and there will be a focus on preparing for story slams. You will leave class with at least one performance ready piece and lists of the ideas to keep you busy all year long. We will also put together a storytelling showcase show of class talent. Who should take this class? No experience necessary. Perfect for artists of other genres that want to learn about storytelling or for storytellers that have slammed and want to build a deeper tool kit.
