Each year, since 2003, World Storytelling Day events occur around the world, on or around March 20. The world theme this year is TRANSFORMATION; worldwide events appear at www.freewebs.com/worldstorytellingday.

The evening will also serve as the annual celebration for the Minnesota Alliance of Peacemakers (MAP), beginning with a 6 p.m. reception and tabling by some of the 70 member organizations. MAP (www.mapm.org) is cosponsor, along with LANDMARK (www.landmarkcenter.org). MAP sponsors the Leslie Reindl Peace Essay Contest, and will showcase the student winners in the 7 p.m. program.

Free and open to the public. Donations welcome. Donations to MAP will be gladly accepted to go toward peace essay scholarships for next year.
